Hi,I did the following:

How Long Does it Take to Lower Blood Pressure?I had just gotten my blood pressure taken on a machine and the reading was like 140/70.I have been eating cold cut sandwiches every day for the entire year and believe that this is why it is high (it has never been high before this year).I was wondering if I could lower this in one week if i don't eat anything high in salt?

Actually 140/70 isn't high. The main number to be concerned with is the bottom number...yours is under 80 which is good. Do you by chance have anxiety or were you under stress when you did the reading? I have an anxiety disorder and mine sometimes can go to 128/60.....usually when you have a high top number and a low bottom number that indicates an anxious person.
