I posed the question yesterday as to what dictator readers would like to be compared to.I’m genuinely surprised that the greatest, humblest and most benevolent human being in history didn’t even rate a mention:

Koreans Miss Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) Nowadays, all of the DPRK people are
waiting for news of General Secretary Kim Jong Il on a visit to the
Siberian and Far East regions of the Russian Federation.

Many people stop at newsstands on the way to work in the morning to
learn about his Russia visit.

What the leader did during his visit is a main topic of conversation
among people.

Since it was known that Kim Jong Il left for Russia, the Korean people
have missed him, concerning themselves about his health.

One wonders if Colonel Gaddafi has «left for Russia»?

Dancing Parties of Youth and Students Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) Dancing parties of Korean youth and students were held in different parts of the country on August 25, the 51st anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il’s start of Songun revolutionary leadership.

In Pyongyang such events took place in plazas of the Arch of Triumph, the Party Founding Memorial Tower, the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium and other places.

With deep reverence for Kim Jong Il, the participants danced to the tune of such songs as «Our General Is Best», «Thunder over Jong Il Peak» and «At a Breath».

They were replete with the fixed will to praise the leader’s exploits and work miracles and feats in the drive to defend socialism and build an economic power true to his guidance.

As time flowed, more pleasant dances were presented to pick up the festive atmosphere.

The dancing parties fully represented the will of the youth and students to safeguard Kim Jong Il with their lives and strikingly demonstrate their wisdom and courage at the posts for defending the country and all work sites for a great surge.

Meanwhile, similar events took place in Phyongsong of South Phyongan Province, Sinuiju of North Phyongan Province, Hamhung of South Hamgyong Province and other provincial seats, cities and counties.
